We are a small Waldorf school situated in Little Beach, on the southern Caribbean coast of Costa Rica, 5 kilometers south of Puerto Viejo Talamanca in the Province of Limon.
We live in the Caribbean countryside between the sea and the tropical rain forest. This area has enormous cultural and natural diversity. Nearby are indigenous reserves, afro-Caribbean cultures and people of all nationalities.For the 2004 school year (February, 2004-January, 2005), we are in urgent need of experienced Waldorf teachers, fluent in Spanish, to establish and grow our school and to help create a path for the growth of Waldorf education in Costa Rica.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR TWO PRIMARY GRADE TEACHERS AND ONE KINDERGARTEN TEACHER TO FORM A STRONG WORK TEAM
We are a small Waldorf school situated in Little Beach, on the
southern Caribbean coast of Costa Rica, 5 kilometers south of Puerto
Viejo Talamanca in the Province of Limon. The school was founded five
years ago by a group of concerned citizens looking for an alternative
to traditional schooling.
In July, 2002 we adopted the Waldorf pedagogy with the help of two
teachers from Colombia and Argentina. In 2003 we are working with three
teachers from Peru and Argentina. The school now operates all primary
grades in three classrooms (1st&3rd in one class; 4th&5th in
another; and kinder in yet another). Our kindergarten now contains
approximately 15 students.
As we are a small school, our economic and housing capacities are
modest; yet we offer living accommodations for single teachers and a
proportional allocation for married teachers.

NECESITAMOS DOS MAESTROS Y MAESTRAS DE PRIMARIA Y UNA MAESTRA PARA JARD͎ DE INFANCIA, PARA FORMAR UN FUERTE EQUIPO DE TRABAJO.
Somos una peque񡠥scuela Waldorf situada en Playa Chiquita, en el
Caribe Sur de Costa Rica, a 5kms de Puerto Viejo de Talamanca,
Provincia de Lim󮮠La escuela fue fundada hace 5 a񯳠por un grupo de
personas de la comunidad buscando una alternativa a la
educaci󮠴radicional.
En Julio del 2002 adoptamos la pedagog Waldorf con la ayuda de dos
maestras que llegaron desde Colombia y Argentina. Y en el 2003 estamos
trabajando con 3 maestros que llegaron de Per?rgentina. Actualmente en
la escuela contamos con grupos reducidos de ni񯳠(1? y 3? juntos y 4? y
5? juntos) y en el Kinder hay alrededor de 15 ni񯳮
Nuestras capacidades econas y las posibilidades de alojamiento son
limitadas por esta raz󮠰odemos ofrecer vivienda a maestros y maestras
solteras , y una ayuda proporcional a maestros en pareja.
Vivimos en un paisaje caribe񯠥ntre el mar y la selva tropical. Es
una zona de gran diversidad cultural y natural. Nos encontramos en las
cercan��� de reservas ind���nas, la presencia de la cutrura
afrocaribe񡠹 entre personas de todas las nacionalidades.
Para el a񯠲004 (Febrero, 2004 a Enero, 2005) necesitamos
urgentemente maestros y maestras Waldorf con experiencia, y pueden
hablar espanol con fluidez, para fundar y hacer crecer esta escuela
